pictures to inspire stories

Our Factotum has Club things to do today, special diet things, household cleaning-type things, as well as getting ready to go away for the weekend.  That’s why it’s important that she have this time to sit here and… share some fall-ness with you!

Talk about “character”, eh?  Doesn’t it make you wonder what romantic, adventurous, story could be behind it?  A nephew started by building tree-houses, and ended up doing this one.  Since his father (& himself, now) is in the renovation business, he was able to get hold of various scrap stuff.  But he was good at, well, “inspiring others” (like retired adults and such) to complete what he started…

THE AFTER PICTURE:

I just love the way the weeds are growing up the steps and into the cabin.  Another story?

To close off (no segue today), is this a good verse for those who worry too much about health?  (Especially since we’ve discovered that The Freshman is being a very good “strategic planner”, in the “warfare” of university work!)

“It’s better to be wise than strong;
intelligence outranks muscle any day.
Strategic planning is the key to warfare;
to win, you need a lot of good counsel.”
(Proverbs 24:5-6)
