the question is WHEN

This is just fun, from The Message this morning:

“When besieged,
I’m calm as a baby.
When all hell breaks loose,
I’m collected and cool.

I’m asking GOD for one thing,
only one thing:
To live with him in his house
my whole life long.
I’ll contemplate his beauty;
I’ll study at his feet.

That’s the only quiet, secure place
in a noisy world,
The perfect getaway,
far from the buzz of traffic.”
(from Psalm 27)

(Well, it’s more than fun.  Who can’t relate to the idea of just staying in a good, quiet place–wanting the comfort to go on and on forever?  It doesn’t mean that’s what we should do, it’s just what we want to do!)

Something else has helped to muffle the noise out there–a good load of white stuff!  SO:  while there is a thick layer of clouds, it IS easy enough to see one’s shadow in the snow-brightness… what does it mean?  Will Spring be early or late?  Any votes?

(HA!)
