know that some people would LOVE to see what we’re seeing…

I’m going to share a quote with you, but we can’t say where it came from, unless we get permission.  This is just such a good example of making “good” what may seem “bad”–more snow!  Also, it’s hard things that always do bring out the most beautiful words (songs, poems, etc.)…

“I know God was by my side this morning to give me strength. The temperature -12C. wonderful for walking. Then it’s not so slippery. The low sunlight was colouring the landscape in gold. The snow was crunching under my boots. In the low sunlight I saw the silver sparklings on the snow. I was walking on streets of silver.

AND, another one of our friends is very disappointed that she doesn’t get to see snow! (We had to laugh when we read her post!) :D

Help us always to look for the beauty.

Walk to Rivendell:  We are stopping in the birch grove for a frugal supper; it’s about 10 pm.
