sun, clouds, and stuff

The Mom finally got some weeding done yesterday, now for mowing the lawn today–before more rain comes!  For now though, it’s sunny and bright.

You need a sunny day behind you, to look at verses such as these (but we enjoy the translation!):

“As the end approaches, people are going to be self-absorbed, money-hungry, self-promoting, stuck-up, profane, contemptuous of parents, crude, coarse, dog-eat-dog, unbending, slanderers, impulsively wild, savage, cynical, treacherous, ruthless, bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and allergic to God.  They’ll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they’re animals. Stay clear of these people.” (2 Timothy 3:2-5)

Converse to that, how ’bout some words to songs?

“Sunny Days
Keepin the clouds away–
I think we’re coming to a clearing and a brighter day…”

“…Rain crash down, soak the ground–
Still I thirst for You!”

… two songs converse to each other!
(I know–weird..)
