wilted lavender-spike, symmetrical Stonecrop

We already forget what that lavender plant is called, but it doesn’t look so good in the picture–which was taken during the hot part of the day, the only 2 or 3 hours of sun that our back-yard garden gets!  It already has a lot more blooms now.

Don’t know if these pictures are worth seeing, if you have dial-up!

That’s our lonely Japanese Fern in the background… it never seems to multiply.

Isn’t it neat how symmetrical this one is?  Too bad we couldn’t avoid getting the shadow on the edges!
