We’ve been reading over some previous entries, something we schedule in, every once in awhile–it’s good for humility. (Well, we do it to remember any previous lessons.) It makes us think we shouldn’t be “saying” so much… we’re sick of “hearing” ourselves! But perhaps that comes from reading weeks of it at one time; it reminds us why we like to keep things short!
So for today, here’s some SHORT notes, from Max:
“Every day do something you don’t want to do; don’t be too big to do something small.”
“Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for Him is a waste of time or effort.” (1 Cor. 15:58)
Walk to Rivendell: On Day 6 of our travels (Sept, 28), we leave Tom Bombadil’s house.
