The Mom found a few verses in her reading this morning, that really confirms things we’ve been talking about here.  Remember how one day was about “a little”, another about “a lot”, and how these subjects are often opposites?  Well, there’s a verse highlighting both good days and bad days; then another one talking about both sides of an issue—which also corroborates what The Mom has been reading in other places (EDWJ), about how Christians sometimes avoid facing reality.

“On a good day, enjoy yourself; On a bad day, examine your conscience. God arranges for both kinds of days So that we won’t take anything for granted.”  (Ecclesiastes 7:14)

It’s best to stay in touch with both sides of an issue. A person who fears God deals responsibly with all of reality, not just a piece of it.(Ecclesiastes 7:18)

Plus (all in the same chapter!) there’s a neat verse about “Shape”…

“Take a good look at God’s work. Who could simplify and reduce Creation’s curves and angles To a plain straight line?”  (Ecclesiastes 7:13)

Thanks Boss, for such a comprehensive Manual and Help File, in The Message!  Please remind The Mom to depend on You, not others, for her confirmation.
