Lest we get too proud of ourselves here, doing this “pause” thing every morning–you know, how I love to sit here looking out this window and talk about clouds and wind, and mystery, etc.—well…
The Mom’s reading this morning was an old bookmark that “mistakenly” didn’t get updated:
“Don’t sit there watching the wind. Do your own work. Don’t stare at the clouds. Get on with your life. Just as you’ll never understand the mystery of life forming in a pregnant woman, so you’ll never understand the mystery at work in all that God does.” Eccl. 11:4 & 5
Okay Boss, very funny. Thanks for laughter and… humility.
This is me, doing my “own work” of keeping those nasty pompoms under the cabinet, where they belong.
I’m *not* sleeping! I’m *guarding*!
(Oh, btw, the picture has changed a little today: the clouds are brighter, and it’s only minus 12 celsius.)
