God likes sparkle

If you don’t think this is funny, you’re impassible!  Our verse this morning, sounds great in The Message translation:  “Everything of God gets expressed in him, so you can see and hear him clearly. You don’t need a telescope, a microscope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ, and the emptiness of the universe without him.” (Col. 2:9)  And now, the same verse in the CEV:

“God lives fully in Christ.”

I suppose you don’t need a lot of words to “realize the fullness of Christ” either!  It is quite true, that we often make things more complicated than they really are.

Yesterday afternoon as we were looking out our window at the rain pouring down, suddenly the sun shone brightly and we could only see a small tuft of a cloud–yet the rain continued to pour down!  Why try to understand it?  It’s just one of those beautiful things that God does.  He made everything SO sparkly!
