Now that the time for living the life of a roue is over, things are pretty frantic around here. Being busy can help you lose weight… maybe? Last night The Mom took 2 hours just to write up the minutes of her meeting. She’s very slow at it, that may be because she likes having fun with it–not following conventional Roberts’ Rules, but making it funny, and lively. So that meant that she was WAY past her bedtime last night, and this morning, with a new, long to-do list, is realizing she missed reading her friends’ page yesterday.
(We hear that complaint a lot… so I suppose sometimes everyone is writing/talking, and not hearing anyone else… which sort of presents a funny picture. However, that’s not quite true, since commenting does allow interaction.)
Today we look out at a mere 5 celsius (40 degrees F)!!! No wonder that plant is blushing pink! The flower-heads start out a greenish-white, and begin to change colour as Fall progresses.
“I’m thanking you, GOD, out loud in the streets,
singing your praises in town and country.
The deeper your love, the higher it goes;
every cloud is a flag to your faithfulness.
Soar high in the skies, O God!
Cover the whole earth with your glory!”
(from Psalm 57)
