First Frost!

Something new added to the workout routine:  scraping windshield.

Even now, when it’s almost 10, the temperature is at 0 degrees Celsius!  But the maple is still covered with (yellow) leaves, and our Linden and Forsythia with mostly green leaves; however, the grapevine wreath is almost completely bare–maybe The Mom will be able to “harvest” it, to make a nice wreath for Christmas.

Well, better finish up with the Fall pictures, before that comes!

This was way back when The Mom first discovered photo programs, and all the fun you can have with them.

You could think of Halloween as a time to “confront your fears”… anyway, it’s such fun–it always has that “air” of Christmas coming, etc.  But we don’t decorate quite as much as we used to, since the neighbourhood kids have all grown up!  Instead, it was a day to “escape” away to a restaurant.

“One final word, friends. We ask you–urge is more like it–that you keep on doing what we told you to do to please God, not in a dogged religious plod, but in a living, spirited dance.” (1 Thessalonians 4:1)
