Ahhhh! These warm-weather-days just feel SO good! It is supposed to get cooler near the end of the week–actually more “normal” temps of 15 C (about 60 F)–will that feel COLD, since we’ve had these higher temps for so long? At any rate, the dirt in our garden is beginning to look kinda dry, even though lots of things are growing. Even some bush-leaves are beginning to pop.
OH–concerning rabbits, squirrels and mothballs–we’ve got an idea. All you animal-lovers will like it: why are we trying to keep away the animals? Why not just keep planting more things for them to eat? Then we could sit here and watch them! You’ve heard of gardens that attract butterflies, why not a garden just to attract other animals?
While you’re mulling that over, here are a couple of good Proverbs for you:
“A refusal to correct is a refusal to love;
love your children by disciplining them.
An appetite for good brings much satisfaction,
but the belly of the wicked always wants more.”
