He gently leads the way

Oy!  That’s what happens when you have your music divided into seasons.  We started on our Fall music this morning, and man, did it ever "take us back"…!  To two years ago, when The Boy couldn’t eat for days on end, then had to have Pepto Bismol with his meals, and even then eating was such an ordeal to get through, and we had no idea what could be wrong… But the feeling isn’t totally bad; it comes with the reminder of how I was able to keep telling The Mom that God IS.  As the music says–"God will lift up your head..", and "wait ‘cos in His time.. it will soon end in joy!"  Now when we hear this stuff, we sing others into the prayer, who are going through even longer & harder difficulties.

So the Voyagers said last night that they’d already done the make-your-own-sticker thing, and the Science Fun award–but they certainly did not seem to mind doing it again!  It was rather busy for The Mom to think of keeping them occupied as well as all the start-up-registration stuff (including two new kids), but the Helpers were… helpful!

How ’bout some more Psalms-medley?

from Psalm 32, 51

"Count yourself lucky—
      God holds nothing against you
and you’re holding nothing back from him.

Soak me in your laundry and I’ll come out clean,
scrub me and I’ll have a snow-white life.
Tune me in to foot-tapping songs,
set these once-broken bones to dancing.

Going through the motions doesn’t please you,
a flawless performance is nothing to you.
   I learned God-worship
      when my pride was shattered.
   Heart-shattered lives ready for love
      don’t for a moment escape God’s notice."
