lift me up so high that I cannot fall…

For all those who are feeling depressed about getting back to work, to school… who are feeling depressed because of an iron-clad Cold that grips them, or who are just tired out and not used to all that work after all that holiday or all those sick days…  for you, because he won’t read this! ;)  (Yes, our Student is Down with Rej’s Cold-from-Hell!  Not as bad as being sick with Crohn’s, and at least he doesn’t have classes but Tuesday & Wednesday, but still.)  A familiar, wonderful Word from Isaiah 40:

"God doesn’t come and go. God lasts.
He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine.
He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath.
And he knows everything, inside and out.

He energizes those who get tired,
   gives fresh strength to dropouts.
For even young people tire and drop out,
young folk in their prime stumble and fall.
But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.
They spread their wings and soar like eagles,
They run and don’t get tired,
they walk and don’t lag behind."
