put your character where your mouth is!

‘Cathie says: "Forget fretting about flakes and face it:  Somebody spilled a LOT of sparkles out there!"’  The Mom says it’s a lot more fun, for example, to think of shoveling "sparkles".  (Some people just never grow up!)  Honestly though, if you don’t get out for a night-time walk before the Snow Shrinks, you’re really missing something.

Right now there’s such a lovely "hue of blue" outside… there are so many stages to a sunrise!

We’ve been holding onto a little quote from our emailed "Verse of the Day", and it fits with yesterday’s suggestion of being the kind of holy church that can make a difference.  It has to do with grace vs judgment (but remember that judgment means "putting it right").

"God longs to be with us, but he will not sacrifice his character to extend us cheap grace, a grace that does not call us to be like him. He’s looking for believers who put their character where their mouth is."
