a new grip

"Addicted to images"… hmmm… that’s more than just a phrase we came across in The Message this morning, among the judgments on Israel for worshiping idols… Could it be that The Mom is "addicted to images", when she takes her computer to bed at night, to spend MORE time sorting her 4,000 pictures?? ;)  You see, she’s just recently figured out how to make them ALL show up on the large screen, and The Bridge (that comes with Photoshop) is such a wonderful tool for sorting!

Meanwhile, the rain has been pouring down, the wind is excitable, and the block of ice at the front door is not quite gone YET!!  Even though they’ve been sprinkling it with salt these warm days!  Today is the last day–cooler weather coming in (from Ottawa? jk jk) tomorrow–so they’ll have to chop at it and MAKE it go away if it’s not gone by tonight.

The Mom should be building up some anger-fuel for that, since she finds out later this morning just how many PREVIOUS root canals have to be REDONE!! #@*!!! (oops!)

Oh well, here’s to take note of a favourite passage, (believe-it-or-not, from the NEW LIVING, vs The Message):

"So take a new grip with your tired hands and stand firm on your shaky legs. Mark out a straight path for your feet. Then those who follow you, though they are weak and lame, will not stumble and fall but will become strong." (Hebrews 12:12, 13)

Walk to Rivendell:  While we’re camped, the Nazgul attack at night!!
