the best thing you can do

Oh my, there’s a roof forming out there! Baby green! (leaves) And even if it wasn’t really warm yesterday, it was SO humid, such a feeling of Spring/Summer–yay!!

The Mom is having trouble remembering what all she did yesterday, besides shopping, downloading the last pictures of Club (she is going to have a WHACK of photo-sorting to get caught up on!), more calendar planning… she’d hoped to get the front bit of grass mowed, but it didn’t quite dry up enough. The back yard was done the day before, for the first time this season.

Today, she’s HOPING, after the usual cleaning, calendaring, and bread-making, to finally get to the spring-cleaning of the ever-thickening files… (why do these things still build up, with all the paperless billing, etc.??) Then there will be Club stuff to clean out, though that could wait til after the final Leaders’ Meeting, and the summer bulletin board is done. SOON maybe she’ll have time to have one of those “Food Days” we talked about before!

More neat reading from Romans (12:1):

“So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.”

Walk to Rivendell: We’re thankful for greenery!
