Forgive me for being born!

No, seriously! People often say that in anger (yesterday’s place of pain), but there is some truth to it: “Forgive me for being born” could mean “accept me for who I am”.

Forgiveness is another huge subject, with mounds of discussion on it. When you get to know someone well, you’ll discover all kinds of annoying things about that person–count on it. If you can accept that it’s just the way they are, you’ll have a forgiving attitude.

And that will help you when the bigger things come up, to forgive.

“Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it.” (Mark Twain… imagine, Mark Twain could say something like that!)
