Have you had your cat video fix lately? A couple of days ago, during some unhappy moment or other, I found myself saying “I need a cat video!” Apparently, cats are the most looked-at thing on the internet. No wonder, they’re so photogenic! Well, besides being so funny, of course.
Not that I can catch my own cat at the best times. The other night I was wishing I’d had my camera set up, although it was in the middle of the night. Dustie was curled up, sleeping right beside my pillow. I must have nudged her or something, ‘cos out came this long, drawn-out groan, just like a human would do! A few minutes later, just as I was falling asleep again, she sneezed–I jumped, and then she jumped! We have lots of mutual “jumping” moments like that, my cat and I, haha!
This must be a simple post just because that’s what you need right now, correct? I was going to summarize all my Advent words, but forgot to check what they were before hitting “New Post”… let’s see, Peace was the first one, Listen was the last one, Perspective was before that… can’t remember that other one! Something that can go with Peace, I think.
Oh well, here’s our Christmas Letter, in case you didn’t get it any of the other ways we shared it. Which is the real reason for this post. ;) I’m off (early) for one more shopping trip (Costco), and then it’s Eggnog-making time!
(I’m so thankful for Sam doing such a great job of taking over this task! The Letter that is, not the eggnog!)
“And now to him who can keep you on your feet, standing tall in his bright presence, fresh and celebrating–to our one God,
- our only Savior, through Jesus Christ, our Master,
- be glory, majesty, strength, and rule
- before all time,
- and now,
- and to the end of all time.
- Yes.” (Jude 1:24-25)
